The Little Sisters host many events throughout the year but none is as full of fellowship as the annual Turkey/Ham Drop!
No matter the weather, the Queen of Peace community of donors come out in droves to drop off their goods with smiles on their faces and joy in their hearts.
The Knights of Columbus are dedicated supporters and several of its Councils showed up with donations. The Lions Club joined us as well adding to the festive atmosphere. It was a busy day for volunteers as car after car arrived, and the Sisters happily greeted and thanked everyone personally even posing for quite a few photos. There were homemade pies for purchase and free hot chocolate and cookies to enjoy as folks stopped to chat and share good wishes.
The Little Sisters and all of the Residents at Queen of Peace are forever grateful for its family of donors who help bless our table with healthy and nutritious meals. We are overwhelmed by your generosity and love.
