To quote Sherlock Holmes – the world’s greatest fictional detective – the GAME WAS AFOOT here at Queen of Peace as our dear Residents donned bunny ears (as opposed to Sherlock’s deerstalker) and became detectives themselves in search of the elusive Easter Egg!
It was so much fun to hear Residents laughing and teasing each other as they searched every hall, room, nook and cranny on the first floor. It’s hard to say who was having more fun – the Residents or the Sisters and staff who accompanied them!
Once all of the eggs were found, everyone gathered in the auditorium where some made trades ensuring that their bag was filled with their favorite color eggs. The eggs were then opened to reveal candy (which everyone shared), small trinkets and even a few $1 bills!
Never underestimate the joy of reliving the games of our childhood; they help keep us young at heart!
