Queen of Peace Residents enjoyed a rousing afternoon of Bingo thanks to Brother Michael and students from Kellenberg High School. Students took the role of MC drawing and calling the numbers while others ran prizes to the lucky winners. Many students opted to join our beloved seniors at the tables helping them manage their multiple cards.
The joy and enthusiasm these teens bring to the Home is contagious, and the cheers and laughter that echoed down the halls caused many staff members to sneak a peek into the auditorium to see what the commotion was all about! Something very special happens when Kellenberg comes to visit.
Kindness and respect always bridge the age-gap as evidenced by the many personal conversations that occurred throughout this delightful afternoon.
