Queen of Peace decked its halls with Christmas cheer again this year, making a walk down the corridor seem magical. And when it came to decorating the auditorium for the Resident Christmas Party, cheerful and merry were indeed the words of the day.
Each table was adorned with a different floral centerpiece, several brightly lit trees stood guard over the festivities and the nativity was arranged beautifully with everyone stopping to say a quick prayer in joyful anticipation of a baby Jesus soon to be nestled in a manger come Christmas morning.
To say that everyone was very merry would be an understatement. Festive music played, the Sisters performed some holiday songs, a delicious supper was served and Santa brought gifts and hugs for everyone!
We can’t confirm that our beloved Residents slept with visions of sugar plums in their heads that night, but we can say with certainty that they slept soundly with happy hearts!
