Everyone knows that St. Joseph, Jesus’s earthly father, is considered the guardian of the Holy Family and protector of the Church. But he is also the patron saint of the Little Sisters of the Poor! We depend on his guidance and love as we turn to him for help through his son, Jesus Christ. Queen of Peace celebrated his special day, March 19, with Mass in our beautiful chapel. Staff members of every level brought in pastries of all varieties turning the auditorium into a veritable pastry shop! Throughout the afternoon, Residents, Sister and staff came together to enjoy each other’s company. It is moments like this that prove that Queen of Peace is more than a HOME. It’s a home filled with togetherness and love. And there is no better way to honor St. Joseph than through family!
