Association Jeanne Jugan
The Association Jeanne Jugan is a group of men and women, married and single, who choose to share in the life and mission of the Little Sisters “to serve Christ with joy and love in the elderly by following the example of humility and confidence left by Jeanne Jugan.”
Those interested in becoming Association members undergo a year of spiritual preparation. New members are then welcomed into the Association Jeanne Jugan by making a promise to imitate the example of St. Jeanne Jugan by serving Christ through the care of the elderly poor. This promise is renewed annually. They live out their promise through ongoing spiritual formation and by sharing in the ministry of the Little Sisters.

Auxiliary Committee
The Auxiliary Committee is a group of men and women who support the work of the Little Sisters at Queen of Peace Residence by assisting with fundraising events.
There are many ways to be involved:
- Help organize events – A behind the scenes job of assisting with event specific tasks prior to the event day. This includes soliciting items for inclusion in raffle baskets, preparing raffle baskets, wrapping party favors and, if baked goods are being sold, bagging pastries. This also includes attending meetings, as your time allows, to share ideas on how to improve pending fundraisers and to share ideas for new fundraising opportunities.
- Volunteer at events – Assist with various tasks to help make the event run smoothly. This includes decorating, registering guests, selling raffles and/or items and helping with breakdown.
- Attend an event with a group of family and/or friends!
Queens of Peace hosts four (4) main events each year: St. Joseph’s Day Dance (March); Golf Outing (May); Garden Party (September) and Oktoberfest (October). It also hosts two other fundraising activities: Craft Fair and the famous Turkey/Ham Drop (both in November).
Membership is flexible, but it is important to attend as many of the meetings – which occur quarterly – as possible. Not only is your input valuable, but we enjoy spending time together! So become an Auxiliary member today. Click here to download a membership application.
